
Art Club event is on the second Saturday of each month.
Its a fun, hands-on event where creativity meets confidence. It’s for girls aged between 10-17 years come together to create and inspire each other in an authentic and meaningful way.
Whether it’s painting, sewing, or jewellery making Art Club offers a supportive, uplifting, and inspiring environment while having loads of fun. Set your child up for success by giving them a fun & creative experience in a positive social setting.
Empower Create Thrive was founded and is facilitated by Behaviour Specialist, Educator, and Artist Jessica Wayland. Her expertise spans multimodal art, self‑esteem, resilience, and emotional regulation. Through a unique blend of creativity and evidence‑based wellbeing practices, she empowers girls to navigate life with confidence.
All Art Club sessions include

· Small group size (max 12 participants) for a personalised experience *Minimum numbers required

The cost of attending Empower Create Thrive Saturday Workshop is $80. The workshop includes morning tea & creative experiences. Bookings can be made via Eventbrite.

Also, girls today face intense social and academic pressures. When girls feel supported and valued, they develop a strong self-image, believe in their abilities, and build resilience, have greater regulation & emotional control leading to improved mental health, well-being, and academic success.
Art Club is held in the newly renovated Juanita Nielsen Community Centre on Bland Street, Woolloomooloo. The location is truly inspiring, just a 9‑minute walk from the Art Gallery of NSW, a 2‑minute stroll to Artspace, and a 10‑minute walk to the Royal Botanic Garden.
